UN1 4spd Crown Wheel and Pinion

Hi
I have just joined the site. I have 4 x Renault UN1 4spd boxes that I want to use in my offroad racer.
One is complete and the others have broken crownwheel and pinions. The boxes will mate up to a Nissan GTiR Turbo.
Can anybody help me with crownwheel/pinions and any suggestions to strengthen this area. I have heard a big bolt through the casing to the crownwheel helps to stop the seperation from the pinion.
Regards Peter
