Welcome back, Bill. Hey, I may know you if you live in Willow Creek. I remember a house near the pool that had a few Alfas, and an open wheel (F ATL?)....gotta be you. We'll have to get the 40's out soon!

BTW, we have a member here from Daytona Beach that is driving all the way to Denver in his GTD-40 for a meeting downtown this weekend. If all goes well, I may meet him somewhere along I-70 (Eastern CO) and escort him into Denver either tonight or tomorrow. Wouldn't that be a sweet surprise to see two GT-40's ready to join him the rest of the way!

Hi Bill, I'll be working this weekend so will not be able to make the Children't Hospital "Bad...Does Good" Charity event. We usually show at the Concourse event and the Shelby Museum Fundraiser in Sept. I met a gentleman (Black ERA) at the Concourse event that also lives in Parker. He wants to meet for drives this summer....I'll let him know about you.

Bill,

You've got some great wheels there - we also have some Alfa stuff - duetto, sprint, GTV, 2600 coupe and giulia spider, along with tons of spares - engines, trans, etc. Next project is adapting modern EFI to the Alfa 2.0 (replace spica or webers) for max power.

Welcome back to GT40s. Sounds like you have a fantastic CAV there!

I was a crew member of the BOBCOR Alfa Trans-Am team in 1972 wrenching on Bert Everett's car and for Ed Rogers and Bing Sherer, the other drivers. Interesting time with an underfunded, understaffed, mis-managed outfit!
