....and thats his coach giving him a few tips on how to get around the T610. I had the pleasure of a brief meeting with this worldly gentleman--and after talking with him, I reckon that he knows a thing or two especially that he built, and has raced this legend for the past 50 odd years.

You're right. He is a very cluey man, with a genuine interest.
And it is with many thanks to Trevor that, YES, i am driving the GT40 around now.
My time is being chewed up ATM by the Elise/Honda. My co-driver crashed it at eastern creek in the last ProdSports 1-hour. I'm sprinting next weekend, and pushing $hit uphill to get it right in time.
