Jersey Festival of Motoring...

hi all,
thought I'd share some pictures of me and gramps at the Jersey Sprints (night-time!). This consists of a 1/4 mile straight run and a badly cambered road with fat white lines down the middle! This is the first time we have driven the Lola in the dry (strange I know) and I have to say, I was scared !
The car take off the lights well but at about 40/50mph the car goes really light at the front and I had to back off, change gear and gentle her up to 80/90 and again she goes twitchy and light at the front.
When you look at the pictures Im sure the front suspension needs to be tweeked to get the front down. I recon the wind was lifting the front.
I have ordered an alu front and rear splitter from Mac in US which may help.
warm regards, Matthew

Good pictures, and yes you are right to want to get that front sorted.

A very bent car is going to be achieved when that nose lifts of the tarmac and you take up flying !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
