I would like to thank you for your time today when you showed Chris, Neil and I around your stable at the Brands Hatch Masters

It was really good to poke around a car and have the bits explained, feel weight of tyres and rims, and your RBT from the GT40 you take care of looked like a very expensive pile of parts

Once again many thanks

Ian

HI Ian,
Always good to put faces to names, and nice to speak with fellow enthusiasts. It's a part of the job that I quite enjoy, as you have to have a certain passion to spend the hours on these things that we sometimes do. We'll be at Donnington with the T70 and the GT40 for the 4 hour event in July and have the T70 at Silverstone for the classic, so if you're at either of those, by all means stop by again.
As you probably saw, we had bad luck again in Sundays race, with Richard having to start at the back of the grid (29th),he made his way to 15th by lap 5 but gearbox probs cause an early retirement. Hey-ho, I guess that's motor racing.

All the best,

Darren

Yes I was at Paddock Hill Bend and the smell of gearbox oil was certainly strong when your car went past.

That said the continuation car parked rather heavily against the tyres in the same race.

I am up at Silverstone for the Classic so will stop in and say hello.
