New Engine/Intake for the Lola

The new GM Performance ZZ383 long block I installed ripped a set of rings in the first 500 miles. GM has a 2 year warranty on their crate engines and made good, shipping me a new engine and paying for 20 hrs of labor support for the reinstall.

I decided to upgrade the cam, heads and intake to get a HP boost. I added a GM 847 cam, Advanced Induction 215cc heads and an Inglese 48IDA Weber set-up, replacing the 44 IDFs that the original owner spec'd.

Here's how she looks now.

Dang that looks nice! I bet it has some real snort too!

Glen quick question, how do you find that exhaust, I have the same header setup on the LS1 in the 5000, but we haven't fired it up yet.

cheers john

The original owner installed this system. Too tame for my tastes....I am working on a design of a system with more volume and "impact".
