New Ford GT at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

I saw the new Ford GT at Goodwood today. It was red and beautiful. Ford have done themselves proud.

Re: New Ford GT at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Totally agree Jasper.
The car created a great deal of interest & drew a huge crowd. I spoke to a group of young lads who thought the car was a totally new concept, they couldn't believe it when I told them the original design was over 40 years old. However they all agreed they 'just have to have one'!!

Paul.

I had a sit and a chat with the two guys who brought it over - one had driven it down from London and was overawed at the experience - he kept producing Polaroids to prove it just like a father of his new-born child - tremendous - One of the three completed last month for the 100 th birthday - chassis 0002 in red for those who need to know

I too agree it looked great.
I was talking to the people from Giugiaro who were displaying their Corvette 'Moray' Concept car next door to the new GT and they also thought that Ford had done a marvellous job.

Re: New Ford GT at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Anyone notice that they had changed the headlights on the car (it had two round headlights within the familiar rectangular casing) instead of the "strip type filament" that the concept car had?

Still looked great though!
