The Bumper

All of the prototypes were off the scale and when I saw the Ford promotional material for the actual production model, I thought I saw....a bumper. A rear bumper.

on...the back of....a...GT40.

So, work has now begun to incorporate an '87 Ford Ranger rear bumper to the back of my prototype GT40 replica.

Re: The Bumper

Is it still the case that trucks aren't required to have bumpers? If so, they can just classify it as a light truck (see: PT Cruiser) and there won't be a problem

Re: The Bumper

Are you sure it's not a rear diffuser?

Re: The Bumper

I too saw the bumper and couldn't bring myself to post about it. I thought if I didn't look for a while it might go away. I guess even a GT supercar has to pass the 5 mph bumper test.

Re: The Bumper

I KHEW someone would ask that! Betty. I have gurney bubbles on both of my doors and I have taken to calling the car Betty. How do you think it would look with a couple of pasties stuck on the roof?
