Re: GT @ Shelby American convention ???

There was a black GT at the SAAC national. It was vin 009. It was a static display only at the registration table area of the show. I took a few pictures of it. Unable to post , scanner problems, just now. I know of most of the mules being disassembled and destroyed. I have pictures of some of these too. Black and painted cars. The first GT to be released to the public, (vin 010) was built on June 30,2004 at the Wixom special vehicle assembly plant. The ownership of this GT was auctioned off at a benefit auction last year on the west coast. The GT sold for approx $585,000. The cars look great, but compared to the "original" this GT is very big.

Re: GT @ Shelby American convention ???

Please make sure to post some pics when you get a chance!

Also, a slight correction... the GT that was auctioned for charity last year went for $557,500K

Re: GT @ Shelby American convention ???

Hello,

What a color for a GT40, seems like a german car !

I do think that any owner of the new GT should use the typical period colors of the genuine GT 40s.
