UK Auction of Ford GT

As a part of the weekend festivities for the British Formula One Grand Prix a charity ball was held and a Ford GT went up for auction.
Despite the fact that no Ford GT was present but only a video was shown, the car achieved a pounds sterling winning bid of £300,000 For you guys in the US that represents around $525,000
Two GT40s were also on display, one of which was my own car.I think maybe I missed an opportunity !!

:-) if you're a charity and the buyer can write off 75% of the purchase, then yes, you did.

but i'm gonna guess you're not a charity if you're buying a Frod GT ;-) ;-)
