Ford GT for $162k

Those folks last year or early this year that paid $250-$300k just lost a bundle.

Re: Ford GT for $162k

My local dealer just got one off the truck... quoted to me at MSRP + sales tax.

I'm thinkin' pretty hard about it too...

It appears as the market for Ford GTs maybe cooling off somewhat... I'll wager the price might even get more reasonable around the end of the year....

Re: Ford GT for $162k

Wait til they show up as used cars, the price will really start to plummet. Or they are used cars with a bunch of miles on them. Or there are a lot of them around, and used, and with a lot of miles on them. Uh oh.
But it's okay...if you bought one at the top of the market, you only have to wait about two generations before they get to be worth megabucks. FWIW, I think when Ford sees the demand drop off and inventory start to pile up, IF that happens, they may pull the plug on building them if they can. They don't want unsold cars diluting the value of what's out there, I think, and they don't want to be stuck with a car that looks like a has-been.
New Ford? rather have a Mustang GT convertible. Had my first drive in one today. Nice car- lot less money.
