Re: Modified Ford GT

Looks like someone in Kiwiland could get a good deal on a slighty used 5.4 with a Ricardo transaxle......

It need not be a write-off however, Ford will supply a new chassis and any parts for a rebuild. They have committed to supply any part for a period of 15 years after the completion of production. I wouls guess that over the next 10 years a number of cars will be 're-framed" after a shunt of this type.

Wonder what happened? Perhaps he got a little behind in his steering?

Always makes me sadto see such a nice car in such a bad way. I hope the owner was unhurt.

Re: Modified Ford GT

The garbage cans didn't fair to well, but the light pole stood up to the test. The real problem is that the retail cost for this car is now less than 200 grand US. A lot of them are going for less than that here in the US. So.... How much labor do you think it would cost to fix this?
