There were 15 new Ford GT's at the Northern California event this weekend at Sears Point/Infineon. I believe the count was 5 Red, 3 Dk. Blue- all with white stripes-, 2 Black-silver stripes, 3 White - blue stripes, 1 White no stripes,1 Titanium, grey stripes. No Yellow or Gulf. This was thw largest gathering I have seen!
Several of them ran and were as fast as the owners driving abilities. They were holding their own with some pretty fast cars that were shod with sticky tires. The GT's were on factory rubber. There were a lot of very fast cars there. As it was an open track event divided into several run groups, it was hard to compare. However watching them come down the back straight to the tight hairpin onto the front straight, they appeared to be amongst the faster cars.
