FAV People Question

I am trying to identify people who worked in the drawing office at FAV in end of 1964 with the initials C.E.L. and J.L.W. although the second one might be a certain Mr Wyer?
anyone enlighten me?

Re: FAV People Question

Roy

Could it be C.E.C, not C.E.L? If so, are these initials on a suspension diagram?

Rob

Re: FAV People Question

Rob,
The initials are C.E.L and are on other drawings - not the suspension ones, any ideas?

Re: FAV People Question

Could it be Roy Lunn. The E could be for Elroy? He was a Ford engineer originally from the UK who returned from the US and I think joined the GT40 program right at the beginning. Regards

Re: FAV People Question

Hi Norman

I think Roy Lunn's middle name is Charles. The guy I was thinking of was Charles Edward Carrig, who worked on the Mustang prototype suspension with Bob Negstad and Roy Lunn in 1963. He was one of the first guys to use computer technology in suspension design.

I could email Roy Lunn to see if he knows, but not I'm sure if I'll get an answer.

Cheers.

Rob
