Re: Dry sump oil tanks

Frank,
I have a link for you below. I'm sorry but it is all I have. If you will open the link you will find great pictures of P1043 and its Dave Dralle designed dry-sump system. It's not as good a picture as some might provide, but I believe that it will give you some ideas.

Re: Dry sump oil tanks

Thanks Garry, What I am particularly looking for are details of a front compartment mounted tank, I know they were only retro fitted later, but any details or pictures appreciated, Frank

Re: Dry sump oil tanks

Frank,
Contact Holman Moody in USA. They have a web-site and contact info. These guys currently make a MarkIIA amd MarkIIB model for sale using the same designs and specs of their winning cars(including an origional style mono, suspension, and running gear). I am sure that they can help.
On a note, I remember reading that the front mounted tanks on the MarkIIA models had some problems. That's why HM suggests that the MKIIB model that uses a rear mounted tank is preferrable, but it is your choice. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Re: Dry sump oil tanks

I put mine in the rear moved the battery to the front.
I wanted shorter hoses.
