Gt40p-1050

I got to spend a day with 1050 last week while in Detroit. This was 1 of a couple cars with AC. This is a very original GT40 still owned buy its second owner. The first owner was GM

Boy they put some mighty tall stacks on that injection system didn't they?

Ex-GM, that would be Kinsler's car, correct?

Thus the "intake stacks" are not from FAV but rather Kinsler's own design (when you make injection systems on the side from your GM engineering job, you just might find time to whip up a system for your GT40!).

Glad he was able to buy it from GM and it didn't get the usual "engineering mule/comparison" car fate of a crusher ride at Warhoops! But then agian a LOT of GM stuff that was "supposed to be" crushed has ended up in private colections over the years!
