Very nice photos, I can't get over how much the interior of P1021 looks like my P2264!

Yes, after Walt Hansgen and then Ken Miles were killed in GT40 accidents, Ford insisted on improved safety, including the fitment of roll bars in their factory cars. Numerous privateers (both in period, and later conversions of GT40 road cars to race spec) followed suit.

Realy ?? take a look at the interiour pics attached, this is how it looks with a good camera and in flash light.


#1021 is a still well used race car, no show car at all. well beaten with all the traces from miles and miles on track. I love it.
I was allowed to take a lot of detailed pics of this car.
