I recently came across this photo that I had never seen before.
It is a photo of the horrable fatal crash of P-1000 that killed Canadian Comstock Racing driver Bob McLean at Sebring. The story has long been that this car was later buried near the crash site.
There is some talk on the Comstock web page that this car was actually taken back to Canada and then disposed of. There is also talk that this car is somewhere in Europe being rebuilt..............kind of like the Linden Green roadster, P-111.
