Paint Color Question #5 Car Chassis 2244

Friends, can someone here tell me what color the #5, chassis #2244 Lemans car was? I understand that it was a Ford factory color...65 or 66 available paint color. I have read that it was Honey Gold but that color seems too light. Can someone comment to this? I want the color that the car was when it raced at Lemans.

2244 is not a GT40 chassis number. 1044 perhaps?

You are correct!!! That Chassis number is 1016. It was the Holman & Moody entry that was third place in the 1966 Lemans race. Thanks!!!
