Art of Ferrari Exhibit

I attended a local museum which had a traveling show called "Art of Ferrari." There were 12 magnificent cars on hand including: 1932, Alfa 8C 2300 Monza; 1952 375 Indy; 1991 641/2 Formula 1; 1961, 250 TRI/61; 1953 250 MM; 1962 250 GTO; 1963 330 P; 1949 166 MM; 1967 275 GTS/4 NART Spyder; 1958 250 GT Coupe; 1967 365 P/2 Speciale; 1973 Dino GTS b246.

It was great! I got to see quite a few cars that I knew about but are rarely seen. I have posted photos on my site:

under "artofferrari" tab. Enjoy!

Re: Art of Ferrari Exhibit

Gary, thank you so much for posting these. I was not able to get to this show when it was in Norfolk; the pictures are just great, I am delighted to at least see this much of it. Thank you again.

Re: Art of Ferrari Exhibit

Those pictures of the newer F1 Ferrari reminded me of how unatractive the contemporary narrow-track F1 cars have become. A wide track is a must for a good looking sports car I think. Am I alone in this opinion here? The reasoning behind making them narrow was to improve overtaking oportunities, but that idea was flawed. Oh well, at least we still have the cars of old to look at
