I just picked up a copy of "Driving Ambition",
the book detailing the development of the F1.
HAS to be one of the best car books done in the past
20 years! What a great book and great story!
Unfortunately it's a little pricey, but if you can get
it used or on sale, DO SO! Call it a X-mas gift.
I could not agree more with your comments. A true engineer showing us all how to do it. Even he looked at ALL the opposition and then came up with what must be one of the GREATEST cars of ALL times.
Interesting to me is what he drives every day, a Smart car and a '60's Elan. Don't know about the Smart car but the Elan is one GREAT car also.
