Please help! House of Kolor

Hi All,

By law of averages there must be someone on this forum who knows the company HOUSE OF KOLOR or an agent or has used the product on their cars.

I have the manual with their colour samples and having been in the spraypainting industry before all can say is magic!

I'm a partner in a semi-dormant company, AUTOACE, short for auto accesories and equipment. The company specialises in the design and marketing of auto related products as the name indicates. We have on file offers of local and overseas products and in addition there are a few of our own design.

We would now like to build the company up to greater heights and I would very much like to acquire the South African agency for HOUSE OF KOLOR.

In the good old days when you phoned you would speak to a real live person but today you invariably get through to a voice mail message after pressing this number and that number! I've left a few messages for a Mr Ivan Cantwell who deals with marketing and sales. I'm not sure that I've the name right but that is what it sounds like. So far I've had no reply and would be most grateful if there's someone out there who could tell Mr Cantwell that there're some crazy guys in Darkest Africa who would like his agency! His telephone number is 091 601 749 5105.

Thank you in advance.

Andre,

I can get you in contact with the right people. Donnie Smith is a custom
motorcycle builder that is building a
bike for me. I will see him tomorrow and he can hook you up
with John Kosmoski founder of House of Kolor.
Donnie and John are great guys and will help you out.
I will get back to you tomorrow.

In 1997 House of Kolor® became part of the Valspar Automotive Coatings Division. Jon continues to play an important role in House of Kolor®. He travels around the world conducting training classes, and continues to share his innovative ideas, helping to keep House of Kolor® on the leading edge of custom automotive coatings.

I wasn't aware that Valspar owns HOK but I will talk to the
boys. And get back to you.

I talked to Donnie and John is only a consultant for the
company but he also knows Mike Cagle and he said he is in
charge and would be happy to hear from you.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but please note something when dealing with people in other countrys: an "800" number, FREEPHONE or other type of no cost calling code is invalid when used from another country! I have seen US businesses put adverts in Brit magazines with an "800" number and then wonder why they get no calls! Always give a regular full voice phone number when dealing with someone "over there". While there are international free calling codes, they are rare. The best is to give a full range of contact numbers including a fax number if available. In my parts business I used to get many inquiries from people who did not speak or write English well....communication was easy if I faxed them a picture out of the parts manual and asked them to circle the pieces they wanted, solved the "we call that a Wilson trunchion pin over here" issues. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
