Re: Eight turbo LS1 Motor pics and dyno

All I can ask is, why? I'd bet the turbos and associated plumbing have doubled the weight of the LS1. A twin-turbo setup works very well of an LS1.

Mark..I don't think they were after efficiency here....

Reminds me of the Pro Street Vega I saw with a 504 inch BBC
with a Rootes blower AND turbos AND nitrous....

Why? Just because...

Mike,

For the "WOW" factor!. It has to be a "show" car anyway.

Where would you find anything similar enough to

run against it in competition?

You've got to admit that all those turbos

and plumbing do get your attention!

Re: Eight turbo LS1 Motor pics and dyno

Its cool, doesn't matter about efficiceny. You could run 8 MAFs, 8 O2s, 8 tbodies, etc. and basically tune 8 little motors!

Wow to much effort for a boy from the bush!! That thing has more plumbing than my entire house.

Yup, that's the one I was talking about.

It is definately for the "wow" factor. Wish I had that kind of cash.
