Rep Power: 24 | Re: Eight turbo LS1 Motor pics and dyno All I can ask is, why? I'd bet the turbos and associated plumbing have doubled the weight of the LS1. A twin-turbo setup works very well of an LS1. |

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Eight turbo LS1 Motor pics and dyno Mark..I don't think they were after efficiency here....
Reminds me of the Pro Street Vega I saw with a 504 inch BBC
with a Rootes blower AND turbos AND nitrous....
Why? Just because...

For the "WOW" factor!. It has to be a "show" car anyway.
Where would you find anything similar enough to
run against it in competition?
You've got to admit that all those turbos
and plumbing do get your attention!

Rep Power: 54 | Re: Eight turbo LS1 Motor pics and dyno Its cool, doesn't matter about efficiceny. You could run 8 MAFs, 8 O2s, 8 tbodies, etc. and basically tune 8 little motors! |

It is definately for the "wow" factor. Wish I had that kind of cash.
