Handmade Wooden Boat

I know some of you guys out there love boating. While on vacation in Michigan I visited with a guy down the dtreet from my Dad named Glen. Glen is incredible - here's some pictures of a handmade rowboat - he said it is designed for fishing on the western US rivers. It has a bottom made out of the white plastic stuff used for cutting boards. Guy is a true artist, we bought some copper etching's he did that my wife liked.

And last one. Glen was making a handmade canoe while I was there, looked really nice. The level of craftsmanship was amazing.

Speaking of woodworking craftsmenship and detail, I saw a few pictures on a website of a gentleman that built a Ferrari F50 car...or boat from wood.
There are additional picutres of other cars/boats and home furnishings, wooden clothes.... Truely outstanding work.

Here is a project that my brother and I are working on at the present. It is going very slow as I am working on my 40 and another car.
