Thanks!
956/962's give me goose bumps!
The 917 is a hellishly fast, evil looking brute, while the 956/962, is a sleek, sexy, lightning quick thoroughbred.
My two dream cars since my young days, after a GT40, of course! Now, if I could only win the lottery......!

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Porsche 956C Mark,
The 962 was somewhere around 1000 kilos.
The more powerful ones typically had a 730HP, twin turbo six.
That's a mess of power in a lightweight package!

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Porsche 956C Norman,
I haven't looked recently, but roughly 12 months ago, there
were a couple of 962s for sale in the States in the $175-
$275K range. At those prices, I assume they had no
significant race history(podium finishes).
What's Christie's commission anyway?
Streetable (at least in Germany) Dauer 962LMs are only a
million or so. What a grocery getter that would make!
