My FORD stolen...

Is incredible..but this is Italy guys...

This night..someone had the courage to stole my old Ford....Fiesta.
Was a 1993 car with some minor damages and proudly 200.000 km on service.

I am so surprised cause this cars doesnt have any commercial interest and also didnt look so good(old city car..all the miles done in Milano Traffic..u can immagine the conditions).

But was my ford, and i miss her..
Damn..

Re: My FORD stolen...

what a bummer. Any wheels are better than no wheels

In the uk we suffer from kids pinching cars for joy riding, and they will take the likes of fiestas etc as they are so easy to get into. My wife used to have an old metro (going back some time) and a bloke pinched it as it was raining and he didn't want to walk home from the pub in the rain !!

I hope you get it back in usable condition, or your insurance pays out and you get a better car out of it.
Fingers crossed for you.

Re: My FORD stolen...

I had a Saleen Mustang that got stolen. The cops found it 20 days later sitting on its brake discs, no wheels and the shifter knob gone. No other damage, just stolen wheels and shifter knob. The exhaust actually got damaged when the tow truck just yanked it up on the flatbed without a care in the world....

I got the car back, fixed and a bit better than before, but it is never good getting something taken...

Re: My FORD stolen...

yesterday I was called by Milano military police(our 911),my car was used to make 3 robbery in apartments in 36 hours.
they found that with 3 rumenian foreign people and the police crew risk his own life 3 times to get them and save the car.
finally they did.,.but only can arrest a whore with the group(even rumenian).
in this moment i just would like in Italy we can apply same american laws over illegal people in our territory8if outlaws...simply fire 'em all.....a single bullet is better than any solution with such people..)
hate think my car ws used for such events, keeping at maximum risk the life of great good agents.

My car is now still usable and with some small minor damages.
I deeply would like to refound only the 2 road plates to cancel the car from registry and know the people in it will be hitted by a Giant truck killing all theme.

just feel in deep respect of the policemans risking so much every day in this town.
Here they cannot fire...unluckily.

Re: My FORD stolen...

I'm glad you got your car back, Paul. I hope the "minor damages" are easily put right.

Re: My FORD stolen...

Thanks Rich,
the main BIG problem is about the quantity of dirty and dust this kind of people is able to place inside a car in 36 hours.
Incredible..really..is a sign of the personal clean they have...

Re: My FORD stolen...

Paul,

beleive me, the imigration problem is not restricted to the USA or Italy.
Ask anybody in any country and I'm sure you will get the same answer - they are all generally
p!ssed off with how some of these people (I accept some of them are genuine) manage to manipulate the system and take advantage of their new countries services.
I better leave that subject there...

Glad to hear you got your car back. Don't suppose you got the number of the lady

Re: My FORD stolen...

John and Pete,
Thank u for comprehension (surely now i will have something to tell when i will be a granddad..LOL ).

Unfortunately now i have a bad feeling on my car...strange to explain..I feel as if it is still not my old car.
Will probably look for something bigger and different, also if this breaks my saving money projects for Geetee(rellay..not a joke).

And i will be looking around for normal cars with this face===> ...repeating car dealers i JUST love the 40 ...but HAVE to buy one of the sh**s they have there (and even maintain an M3 convertible)..
Damn.....car love is dominating my life

If you have been a good boy Paulo - you may have a '40. But if you have been a naughty boy Paulo, you must drive a Fiat...

Goodnight.
