This happened in Southern California to a middle aged European man who apparently has a very shady past. Arrests, international implications, theft, illegal transport of the Ferrari from England to the US ... on and on.

I stumbled across the story on a website called www.wreckedexotics.com. of all places, makes for some real interesting reading. Of course you probably should take a portion of what you read on the site with 'a grain of salt' as they are not a 'real' news source. But overall I'd say they are doing a goood job of covering the story. It's mind blowing stuff this guy did!
I have not looked at the site for a few months - I'm taking for granted they are still 'working' the story. Enjoy.
