Rep Power: 29 | Re: Gulf colours gone nuts... Gulf colors just don't work on a truck, but I can over look that.....The Lambo doors are nauseating, but I still haven't lost my lunch.....the wheel are completely over the top and I am starting to get that wierd feeling in the back of my throat........but, uaaagggghhhh, the low profile tires just caused me to soil the toes of my high tops.

Send it to Baghdad.
Just as an aside , President Roosevelt sent his aide Wendell Wilkie, to the Middle East, before the USA entered WW2. He came back and described the Middle East thus, ' Its the arsehole of the world and Basra is 200 miles further up '
How things dont change !!

Rep Power: 5 | Re: Gulf colours gone nuts... It's a photoshop effort anyhow - look at the "blacked" out window on the near side - the opposite side window is clear. |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Gulf colours gone nuts... I don't think it is photoshopped. All the windows look correct to me too. The only 'clear window' I can see is where the door is open.
In a funny kind of way I quite like it. Not that I'd be seen dead in it mind |

Rep Power: 18 | Re: Gulf colours gone nuts... Only a few vehicles should be painted with Gulf racing colors, most that you see look bad (IMHO), including the hack job hummer. GT40, 917, and some 911's oddly look good (again IMHO). I thought about painting my 65 fb mustang with the gulf scheme, then caught someone else photo that had the same idea, looked very bad. One other car I have seen in a video game with Gulf scheme is the Lotus Cortina, but not sure if that is a real cars image and what could be better then the fine white green scheme lotus came up with.
But you know what they say... 'To each their own'
Sandy
