I saw somewhere here a too nice picture of a gt40 parked so near to an F-15 (E maybe?).

Some see violent death and some see the freedom to make comments like that.

Rep Power: 5 | Re: Panavia Tornado Merry Christmas, Paulo. Here's the largest pic. I can post. The F-15 is a MSIP (improved) A model, the original single seat air superiority fighter vs. the newer 2 seat F-15E dual role model (picture was taken about 1997). The current fighter version is the improved 'C' model, soon to be replaced by the F-22...or should I say 'augmented'?
Re. Tornado, nice airplane, like a much improved and modernized F-4. Not quite in the same league as the more modern F-15E. I had the opportunity to 'play' with/against RAF and Luftwaffe Tornado's at the international training site at Goose Bay, Labrador.

Rep Power: 27 | Re: Panavia Tornado that is exactly the picture I had in mind, and I think thats wonderful.
Thank u Mike
Paolo
P.s. my modelling shop is mainly selling planes model kits, think I have tons of F-4s, F-15 (all versions) and F-14s.
Actually I am finishing an ugly F-22 in 1/48 scale..and I dont like that (also if the model comes impressive...mainly for the too strange painting scheme). In progress are also OA-4M 1/32 and a giant F-4D even in 1/32.The vietnam camuflage scheme on Phantom is simply wonderful(will probably finish that as "Black Man" and Robin- Holds one...)

Rep Power: 5 | Re: Panavia Tornado Here's a refueling sequence, F-4D. If you look close at the last picture, you'll see a 'starwars' black helmet with a red 'MIKE' on the visor .
This might give you an idea of the war paint for your model. Note, no 2 airplanes are exactly the same, there's just a general pattern of green/brown. BTW, the camouflage scheme was replaced by the dappled gray/air superiority paint on all the jets in the later years. Many, including our E models, had the tiger teeth on the nose gun.

Rep Power: 27 | Re: Panavia Tornado Mike,
those in action pictures are simply wonderful.
I prefer vietnam camuflage paint scheme than modern boring air superiority grey (unless that is a grey ferris scheme over F-14s eheh..)
If u can...post more, cause I think too many as me here inside like those ones
