Ciao Bob,
So happy u also like the pc driving sims.
I (still

) dont have a Cav, and for the moment pc is the only driving experience I can have for my beloved one.
Consider I am SO nut for the 40, I buy nearly everything on the market with that car inside (also bs as ford racing game for psx2..but they had a ford gt on the cover..so I cannot resist..).
Rfactor is in my opinion a wonderful game featuring the possibility to istall many add ons imporving a lot the basic game..that has the main good thing in being "open source".
Gamers and programmers can work together to improve the game, working on every (phisic)details and producing add ons hard or easy, depending from what u like more.
Many loves also just run as in need for speed, and others wanna come crazy in fixing setups and racing online.
If u have the basic version of the game u can go here:
rFactor Central - Community Driven Race Sim Resource for rFactor by ISI // Car mods, Track mods, Car Setups, Screenshots
and u will found a LOT of mods (some gigs) of nearly every race cathegory, as well as a LOT of tracks form every part of the world
I deeply suggest u to try as soon as possible the wonderful Formula 1 1979 mod (every mod has a pubblic value ratio..su u can see in the website wich is the nicest one by the comunity), but as u can see looking around that website there are a lot of too nice ones...from Group B rally cars, to nascar..to formula indy or Formula 1...and historics Cobra and GTO.
The little work i am doing now is just to beta test this gt40, bacause I want to drive just that, and until today noone has still finish this (look at work in progress section..also a 917k mod..).
Usually..when new mods are ready u can download theme from the website (or from direct links they provide).
Hope this help
Paolo
