Design software

Silly question but has anybody used any design software to mock up a room ie a kitchen or office or similar?

Re: Design software

Not a silly question, that's what the software is for. I used SolidWorks to layout new bookshelves because 1) I have access to it and 2) it's parametric which makes it very easy to make changes. Take a look at http://www.gt40s.com/forum/gt40-tech...me-design.html where I mention free 2D software from SolidEdge. Should be good for designing a car too....

Re: Design software

David, try this, it is a free download for 15 day, very good, and lets you add in desks, computers, faxes and all that other office stuff. looks a bit difficult to get in to but stick with it for and hour and you will have a full walk through office.

I did my dream house with it......

And only a few quid to buy, if you like it.
