Road trip to get windshield

Yesterday morning I set out on a day road trip to Southern California to retreive a windshield that I bought from Fran (at RCR) and was waiting at Sandy's house near Los Angeles.
I was on the road by 4AM and I made it back home by 6PM.
I drove in all just under 850 miles.
Here are some pictures I took of Sandys' car that show how nice it is;




My new windshield is going to fit fine on my GT40NZ.

Wow Bob, that's 60 mph average without stops ! How many speeding tickets did you acquire ?

I am very happy to report that I received no tickets on my trip.
The posted speed limit on I-5 is 70 mph.
In general, on California freeways ,if your going with-in 10 mph of the posted speed limit you usually do not bring too much attention to yourself although you can still be cited.
