Chamois leather? - forget it.

I know chamois leathers date back to Supercharged 3.5 Bentleys and Supermarine Spitfires but I was just given a newish product called E-cloth and it is the best thing since sliced bread for windscreen demisting and cleaning. Ain't cheap though - £13 for four about the size of a face cloth but I've put one in each of our cars and I'll keep one for use on the Ducati to get the flies off the visor.
Just reading the lable E-cloth direct from the producers, EnviroProducts. EnviroProducts Ltd - E-cloth Official Home Page
Pete - I'll bring you a pack to Monaco.

It's a hard surface cleaner and I would be wary about using it on auto paintwork, so it may not be a chamois replacement per ce...?

OK for windscreens though, but maybe not for plastics?

The blurb shows it being used as a floor cloth...

Keith,
You just prompted me into action and I tried it out on my Explorer paint work. No adverse effects. It may have taken off the wax but the paint work still looks good. Or at least as good as when Ford sprayed it originally. It's so nice outside I might just go and have a snooze in the garden.........
