George Begg passed away a couple of days ago. To most of you he may be anonymous, but to Kiwis George was right up there with the likes of Bruce McLaren. He was a bike racer and an extraordinary engineer of great vision. He built highly innovative racing racing cars that competed successfully on the world stage, most notably in F5000. So long George.
