| Re: A Dog with two tails.... :-) Hi Randy,
I've been on Lipotrim. Its basically a food replacement programme comprising powdered (mix with water) milkshakes or soups if you like. You have one in the morning and one at night and lots and lots of water.....
I saw it work for someone else and had decided that enough was enough so a diet was required and I checked with my Doc first to make sure he was happy with it...
I had completed a 'Diabetes Study' for Guildford University which had me eating specific food types whilst avoiding others and over a 6mth period I put on about 25 lbs - peeking at 350lbs.... I'm not diabetic and I think they were intrigued as to why I wasn't?
Lipotrim sounds drastic, but it has in all honesty been very very easy and I still eat meals as and when I choose whilst on the lipotrim, but I now find I eat less and am much more selective about what I consume. My taste palette is also far more sensitive to flavours and I enjoy what I eat more than ever.
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to lose a substantial amount of weight and over a period of time, it will re-program your dietry habits for the better IMHO....
Signing off as I've noticed there is a 'Bright Sunny CLear BLue Sky' outside.... Time for a 'tootle'

| Re: A Dog with two tails.... :-) Hi Paul - Congratulations on your weight loss.. I struggled with mine for years having lost 130# on Liquid Protein only to gain back 140 and again losing it on Weight Watchers. I was keeping it off fine until I blew the left knee out and could no longer run or bicycle (heck I had a hard time walking).. Gained it all back and then some. 5 years ago I went through Gastric Bypass surgery and have lost it all and kept it off with a relatively active lifestyle although no strenuous work-out regime (although I need to start some sort of upper-body program as I've noticed a slight paunch as of late)..
Now I fit into clothing off the rack again as well as my racecars and other smaller cockpit cars even though I am 6'3"..
Feels great doesn't it?? |

That is fantastic!! Congratulations to you, very good!
And that bike, that is one we don't get over here and I would love to have. Naked big four pot, excellent. Very nice!
A healthy lifestyle change is hard to do, again, congratulations to you!

| Re: A Dog with two tails.... :-) Well done Paul, the only thing missing from that photo is a big smile. I've been able to keep my weight down at 75kg and that's important for the yearly motorsport medical which gets tougher every year.

The bike looks great. Just try to keep it on the black stuff, eh. Oh, and go buy a set of carbon race pipes |

| Re: A Dog with two tails.... :-) Thanks ALL -
The benefits I feel from the weight loss have already transformed my life for the better and I have vowed never to let it build up again! Another 28lbs and I'll weigh the same I did when I got married, 20+ years ago.
I also purchased the first pair of denim jeans yesterday for years and I now get into a 36"..... Much Much easier to get clothes now too.
Re the Bike - as it was a dry Sunnny day today, I racked up 113 miles in about 3 short trips and have to say the bike is a BLAST... although I did have 2 rabbits, 1 fox and a deer decide to run out across the road in front of me during the very first 3 miles...
Even keeping below 4500rpm I'm amazed how much torque it has, I'm going to have to get a gear position indicator as it is all to easy to pull up whilst in 3rd or even 4th if the revs are low before braking. From 30MPH in 6th, wind the throttle on and there is a relentless surge of acceleration... Things have definately changed from my last bike, (a 1977 RD250DX 2-stroke) and definately for the better!!
Let me know next time you're over Ron - you can try it for size..
A couple of pics Helen snapped early today..

Rep Power: 54 | Re: A Dog with two tails.... :-) Looking pretty slick on that thing! Thanks for the invite on a ride, I will take you up on that. I imagine that is a wheelie machine with a seriously flat torque curve that just doesn't have any curves in it!
Sure wish they sold those over here. We got the ZRX1200, and I had a old CB1000 "The Big One" from Honda, but neither are like the machine you have, really cool.
Good you ride a bike. That way when you are over for one of our races you can use my bike to get around on and it'll help out on logistics! Mine is nothing like yours though, but it'll get from point A to B.

| Re: A Dog with two tails.... :-) Ron -
Just to picture it I came across this dyno sheet of a stock 2005 '1400'.
Reasonably flat and hell, the HP above 3K is more than Helen's Nissan Micra on full chat....
ps - Why is it that when going through a long tunnel, you always feel compelled to 'give it gas'?
