So my cousin sent me an email a few weeks back, saying that she had seen some funny flat cars like mine in oz - anybody recognise themselves ?

Re: Aussie pics.

These shots were taken at St Bernard's Hotel, Mount Tambourine in the Gold Coast Hinterland where Club GT40 Australia had it's April run and breakfast.

We usually get together on the third Sunday in the month for a run and either breakfast or lunch depending on the destination. We get four to six GT40's attending on a regular basis with a couple of sedans as well. The most GT40's we have had is about ten cars with a mix of DRB's and Roaring Forties.

The cars above are all DRB's and looking from right to left the cars belong to:-

Gavin Baxter - yellow with black stripe (owner built)
Matthew Baxter - all yellow (owner built)
Peter Ransom - orange with blue gulf stripe (factory built)
Greg Marriott - green with gold stripe (owner built)

Here is a link to some detail photos I posted of my car just after I finished it in 2004.

Hey, I love that description too.

Let's call it "The Funny Flat Cars Forum". What do you say, Ron?
