Perhaps this is old news but as I was killing time in a bookstore and thumbing through the mag rack, I stumbled across a small picture of a GT40 in a mag which escpapes my memory right now. Cool I thought and then I read the brief (~5 sentence) paragraph with it.
It was a quick write up of a TT event (if my memory serves me correctly, though I forget which one) but the name was familiar to me from the forum and the story and was entertaining. It related that Martin drove his GT to the event to spectate, got there and was persuaded by "friends" to enter. He did and won his class!
