I haven't drunk alcohol since my 18th birthday. I'm dying to get pulled over and can't wait until the officer asks when I last had a drink. I can honestly answer "1975" !

Simon, they will still breathalise you. All to do with quotas and performance related pay before they can get into overtime. It's happened twice to me in the last few years. Whereas there used to be that they needed a valid reason to stop you, the reason has been removed as well - they can stop you for anything they like or absolutely nothing at all now. Once they have their quota completed each month, you'll find a lot of them spending all day sitting in the back of the magistrates courts just in case on, the off chance, they might have to give evidence. | |
