well,maybe some of u know this "strange" plane.

The Alenia-Aermacchi-EMBRAER AMX
We (Aermacchi -Varese) did it with Brasil (Embraer...WOW..what a company!), but is a crappy machine (we oredered Engines from Rolls Royce,asking for a direct alternative to units on the Bac Hawk, that is simply a masterpiece in its role..so how can they give u something good?).
Nobody obviously buy the plane (neither brazilians at the end) and this aircraft was famous only for the tragedy with tester pilots (14 pilots killed.. Il cacciabombardiere AMX: 14 piloti morti in incidenti ).
Now our air force finally decided to stop all to ground

I just wonder why..we again decided to make a crappy plane and not buy something (really cheaper) already done and tested in Uk (its Red arrows plane...isnt it?), in a role where american doesnt have a similar one (the US Navy took it, modify it and renamed as T-45 Goshhawk..).
Boh...mystery from italian airforce, only sad for the guys giving life for nothing over it (this reminds a lot what happened during second wold war...a lot of heroism, and no materials to be an hero..)
