Who's Gulf coloured car stopped on a bridge across the M3 near Basingstoke today? With what looked like a BMW X5 in attendance. The '40 may have been on a trailer because I don't think I would have seen quite as much of it as I did, if it had been on it's wheels. Had white roundels and No. 14 on the door...

I think someone was in trouble... couldn't see any more 'cos I was proceeding in a SouthWesterly direction on the M3 at exactly 70mph. Honestly.

There are two Gulf liveried GT40's in Basingstoke that I know of. Bob Jones has a 6 on his doors so it must be Bill Gouldthorpe's GTD. He does not post on this forum. Basingstoke must be one of the best places to go GT40 spotting as there are 5 cars within seven miles of each other and I am only about twelve miles away.
