Sad to hear that David Leslie sadly lost his life yesterday in the plane crash in Kent.
Maybe not an instantly recognizable name for everyone, but a well known and talented touring car driver (BTCC)
Condolences to family and friends of all who perished on the flight.
Simon

Also killed in this crash was Richard LLoyd.
Richard was Cliff Richard's manager early on in his career. He then went on to race a Triumph Spitfire very successfully then later started GTI Engineering. From his workshop at Silverstone he ran Richard Lloyd Racing running some well known drivers in Porsche 956s and 962s. With his Le Mans experience, he was behind the success of the Audi R8C and later the Bentley EXP Speed 8. Richard and David were on their way to France to test the Jaguar XKR when this tragic accident happened.
