Covered elsewhere on the forum, SPF cars sold via Shelby.

New Shelby GT40's

Given the MKII isn't the most popular GT40 by a long shot I imagine they will have difficulty selling all the proposed cars. I doubt 255 MKII are on the road worldwide. But, then again, never underestimate the power of marketing.....

Re: Anyone heard of the SHELBY 85TH COMMEMORATIVE GT40?

Ah, kinda figured I'd not be the first one to find it. LOL Sorry for not looking... I knew SPF was licensed by Shelby (Cobras & Daytonas) and kinda figured they'd use the SPF MkII. We worked with SPF through Racing Legends Motorsports out of Plano with Mr. Jim Creel when I worked at Motion Dynamics. He's got a Cobra, MkII, and Daytona as personal cars and we were going to do the GT40 for him. Anyways, the MkII isn't my favorite of the GT40 family either, but they do look good. Just thought it was interresting though.

Laters,

Brian
