Hi Pete:
A guy in Owosso Michigan made a simular cars in the late 80's mid 90's. I used to pass him on the freeway once in a while. His had retractable out rigger wheels used until you got up to speed. I know he had produced a few. Maybe he sold his designs.

Wasn't there something like this a while back called the Warp 5? Used a motorcycle engine in the back also. We have one here in Austin in front of an office building. I'll get a pic of it one of these days. LOL
