Oregon to use GPS to tax mileage?

I saw this on another forum, unbelievable! Nah I'm wrong of course it is believable, pollies will tax anything. How do they work out what is private mileage, like driving your truck around the farm/ ranch?

Amusing. I wonder how long this will be in effect before someone figures out that the system effectively raises the tax rate for owners of fuel efficient vehicles and lowers the tax rate for owners of less fuel efficient vehicles? If your car gets more than 20mpg your tax rate is higher with gps, if your car gets less than 20mpg your tax rate is lowered.
