Tried to find the plane thread but it seems to have got buried...

Anyway, I dug this up from the archives. A quaint little late WWII propaganda movie featuring my very favourite WWII aeroplane. Enjoy...



BTW no 'elf 'n safety back then. Check out the guy puffing away on his pipe!

Amazing what you can do with a bit of glue and balsa wood. I loved the barrel roll on one engine. Thanks for posting.

Neat Clip. They made the fuselodge here too in the old North Plant now gone. Usualy done by women. My buddy Al whose dad was in the RAF squadron who was in North Africa and Bhurma to me a story how they developed a two part epoxy to replace the milk based white glue because of bugs eating the glue in jungle like climates. The planes would start to delaminate. He said it was very hush hush back then. Still a great plane.
