I used to go watch them with my girlfriend for HOURS way back in the day... Of course she was watching them more than I - my attention kept being drawn aside... Or is that below....

Ahhh the old submarine races. Memories are flooding back to me now. Simon, I''m just a wee bit curious do they have different classes for the race because pic # 2 is clearly a nuke while # 3 is a conventional powered machine. Not very sporting in my mind because of the obvious advantage during re-fueling. The sub in # 4 is blowing oil too...must be the Iraq entry.

Trouble with the submarine races is that I never get to see the winner.

Every time I go to the beach to watch the races I get distracted by the beach bunnies.
