Barclays are now rolling these cards out in the UK and no doubt other banks will follow.

Also in London "everyone" is using the Oyster card - again details can be picked up by a scanner

And when you have your passport in your pocket at an airport - perfect way for the scoundrels to know your house is empty!

Call me anal /old fashioned but I will not even approve any of my bank details / accounts to be available over the internet - I do not consider it secure! - I'll take the time to visit a branch if need be.

He probably invented the technology so he could sell the sleeves .
