Big big ups for eddie!

Eddie Kidd, one of the world's foremost stunt riders before he suffered severe brain damage in a stunt at Santa Pod Raceway in UK a few years back (doctors said he would never walk again), has just completed the London Marathon today - 26 miles in 2 months.

Watching a video of him dragging himself along for a kids charity is both heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time.

I believe he personally raised around £100,000 for the kids but it must have been hell. He walked about a mile a day, but yesterday he managed two.

Amazing commitment. Now, THAT's what I call a role model so stuff that in your football boots, Beckham!

Absolutely. A role model with grit and determination. These are the people who should receive awards and titles, not the poncy film stars, billionaire philanthropists, and overpaid sports people.

His brain may be damaged, but his heart and spirit is not! BTW, it would take me longer to do a marathon......
