Yes He did announce his retirement. I don't have a ready reference though.

Yes he has officially "retired" but he could make his first 'comeback' at Goodwood Classic this year.. :laugh:

Amazing bloke - typical Spitfire pilot, no fear "Bang On - Wizard Prang" etc. I was driving around Marble Arch some years ago (maybe early '70's?) and he came flying past me on the inside in a turquoise Mini -Cooper, cut sharply across me, and accelerated out of sight at warp speed in the outside lane of Park Lane..
