He managed a lap at 115mph but very nearly lost it in the compression at the bottom of Bray Hill at about 150mph. Scary! Amazing to think the superbikes fastest lap is now 131mph average by John McGuiness.

Probably a bit scary at the time, but he's so busy trying to control, really sinks in upon reflection.
